Who these terms are with
These terms are an agreement between you and Xypher Labs, the publisher of ChargeSage (com.chargesage.app) on Google Play. Your installation is also governed by the Google Play Terms of Service, which govern distribution and any transaction.
Your licence
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use ChargeSage on devices you own or control, for as long as you follow these terms.
Measurements are measurements, not guarantees
ChargeSage reports what your phone's own battery hardware reports, corrected for known quirks. Manufacturers vary in how honestly and how often they report current, capacity and temperature.
- Wattage, time-to-full and battery-health figures are estimates, and the app labels how confident it is in each of them.
- Screen-on drain attribution is modelled from your own usage, not read from a system power meter — no third-party app can read one.
- Do not rely on ChargeSage as a safety instrument or for warranty, resale or diagnostic claims about your battery.
Alarms are best-effort
Charge-limit, low-battery and temperature alarms depend on Android letting the app run and letting it post notifications. Aggressive battery optimisation, denied notification permission, Do Not Disturb or a manufacturer's task killer can delay or suppress an alarm. Treat them as a helpful nudge, never as the only thing standing between your battery and harm.
What you agree not to do
Do not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, and do not use it to interfere with other software on the device.
No warranty, limited liability
ChargeSage is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including damage attributed to battery wear, a missed alarm or an inaccurate estimate. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
Free, ads and Premium
ChargeSage is free to download and use, with ads. Live readings, alarms, the charge limit, battery health and the Coach stay free. Some charging-screen styles are free, some can be used after watching a short ad, and some need Premium; which is which may change over time. ChargeSage Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, sold through Google Play: it removes the ads and unlocks every charging-screen style, your full history and export. The price, billing period and any free trial are shown before you buy. Google Play charges you and renews the subscription until you cancel; you can cancel anytime in Google Play › Subscriptions, and Premium stays on until the end of the period already paid for. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. If you installed ChargeSage before Premium existed, the features you already had stay unlocked without a subscription.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, whose courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you use ChargeSage as a consumer elsewhere, you keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
